Innovative digital welding turntable -
Efficiency and flexibility redefined
Experience maximum efficiency and flexibility with our fully digital turntable model, ideal for demanding welding processes and robotics applications. Our latest series of welding turntables sets new standards for precision, flexibility and automation. Developed for all common welding processes such as MIG/MAG, TIG, electrode and laser welding, this rotary table also offers connection options for automated applications such as plasma cutting or robot integration.
Intuitive operation and maximum control
The device is controlled via an integrated touchscreen, which is protected from damage by an appropriate cover. Alternatively, the device can also be conveniently operated with gloves via a rotary encoder knob with touch function.
- The start/stop button and emergency stop are clearly visible on the front.
- Speed settings and other functions can be confirmed directly by pressing the rotary knob.
Powerful and flexible in use
The protected current collector in the housing is designed for a load of up to 400 A at 80 % duty cycle. The series can be operated via battery (18V) as well as via mains connection or stationary via 24V, which means that partially or fully automated work processes can also be carried out on larger construction sites or stationary in the company.
Versatile mounting options
The innovatively thought-out housing design has been conceived in such a way that it enables individual positioning on all standard perforating and welding tables with the 16/22/28 system in order to fulfil any welding or positioning task. In addition, various devices such as face plates, jaw chucks or perforated plates in different sizes can be adapted.
Full automation and networking
Thanks to the latest EtherCAT technology, several devices can be synchronised with each other. This makes it possible, for example, to replace cobots in full automation. With a weight of just 22 kg and ergonomic carrying handles, the turntable remains mobile and flexible in use.
Advanced welding programmes for optimum results
Our series has a wide range of welding programmes:
- 2-stroke, 2-stroke shafts, 4-stroke, 4-stroke shafts, 6-stroke, 6-stroke shafts, memory
- 4-stroke shaft mode: Enables the superimposition of a sine wave signal for perfect welding results, especially with stainless steel.
- 6-stroke mode: Two speeds can be set and called up during the welding process using a foot pedal - ideal for asymmetrical components.
- Overlap function: An overlap can be defined for all programmes before and after welding.
- Start ignition until it starts (during welding): Lead time until the welding process beginsIs the phase from ignition of the arc or flame to the actual start of welding. During this time, the arc stabilises, the filler material begins to melt and the optimum heat input is achieved.
- Deburrer filling (during welding): Follow-up time at the end of the welding process
Smart interfaces and automation options
- Arc can be controlled potential-free via the interface for welding machines.
- Modern systems can be controlled directly via analogue or digital exchange signals.
- Each programme created can be saved and recalled at the touch of a button using the memory function - ideal for welding small batches (10-20 parts). All programmes can be stored in the programme memory with an individual file name.
- Analogue and digital inputs & outputs for communication with robotics.
Connectivity and easy data transfer
- RJ45 and USB interfaces: Data can be transferred by stick.
- Controllable valves for moulding gas or compressed air and gripper functions: For applications with forming gas or compressed air in conjunction with a gripper, the valves (integrated in the device) can be mapped and saved directly via the control unit and in the programme. Optionally with rotary feed-through for extended automation solutions (which combines forming gas as well as a gripper function or two gripper functions).
Highest safety standards and convenience functions
- Torque control: The function of switching the motor without torque enables the components to be adjusted by hand to the exact position, as well as regulating the force of the motor via the torque menu and preventing crushing hazards.
- Home position function: Thanks to an integrated reference sensor, the "Home Position" function can select an initial position, e.g. for fully automated robot applications with parts handling, where the axis moves back to its zero position.
- Precise positioning: Bolt hole circles, pitch circles or angular positions can be set precisely/absolutely.
- Maximum rotation function: There is also a maximum rotation function, which is perfect for sanding welded lids or polishing pipes, for example.
Master-slave operation and intuitive handling
- No software or complex training requirements: Automated welding processes can be realised by simple teaching.
- No external programmes or control cabinet required: Thanks to master-slave operation or in conjunction with robotics, no external programming or switch cabinet construction is required.
- Hybrid cable technology: Data (Ethercat) and power are transmitted via a single cable, eliminating the need for external controllers and control cabinet construction. Thanks to the different series with integrated or external touch, any application can be realised quickly and easily in dirty and harsh environments as well as in robot environments.
- Foot pedal: Digital or analogue foot pedal can be connected directly via the 5-pin connector
- Optional radio foot pedal: Available in analogue and digital versions, allows maximum freedom of movement thanks to wireless technology. (Not possible with the Basic turntable version)
- Additional axes: Other additional axes such as linear axes can be used with the hybrid cable technology in master-slave operation. Simple teaching by hand or analogue and digital functions can be used to perform any automation task.
